material to exhibit the reflectivity in the visible region of any
commonly available metal. And silver is not as suitable as aluminum
for use at shorter wavelengths as it exhibits a drop in reflectance
starting in the blue and failing to a minimum near 315 nm. These
coatings are widely used to work with internal mirrors, as it maintains
a higher reflectivity. |
